Lion (also known as Phil's Lion and Lion Lester) is a small toy lion that is almost always in the background of Phil Lester's YouTube videos. He was the unofficial mascot of Phil's channel for many years. In the past, Lion often gave his own commentary during Phil's videos using an annotation speech bubble, though the annotations are no longer visible as of 2019.
Over the years, Lion has gained a wife, twelve children and his own special page in The Amazing Book Is Not On Fire. While he is no longer a central part of Phil's channel, he still occasionally features in the background of his videos, and a replica plushie of him was made available on Phil's merch shop in 2018.
